INFLOW32TM
Automated Batch ProcessingTM
The "KeyNet Pump" which we call INFLOW32 gives you full
capabilities for importing any kind of file including office or email documents and images
either scanned or collected from external sources. INFLOW32 uses a document type template to
provide a simple means of pumping files of any kind into a document repository and providing
index information to an external database. Documents can be collected from Email, Fax servers,
Scanners, and any other electronic source. Data can be collected from machine-printed data,
bar codes and check boxes. Alternatively, a powerful data entry function allows documents to
be submitted to a data entry operator for unstructured data capture. Email attachments are
'burst' from the message and stored as 'pages' of the document.
INFLOW32 allows you levels of automation all the way to a fully unattended mode. INFLOW32 works
with all compatible devices, ISIS and Twain scanners, cameras, and service bureau media.
INFLOW32 supports 56 image file formats, and can work with any other file that is able to be
associated in Windows. INFLOW32 quickly consumes and bursts attachments from Email. INFLOW32
supports major fax server products to import documents right into our system. The more control
you have over the incoming form type the more automation you can introduce to the system. On
the backend INFLOW32 supports all storage types and devices: optical, jukebox, magnetic, RAID
and removable media. Documents can be viewed, printed, faxed, or Emailed anywhere.
INFLOW32 Features
- Documents can be collected in batches from several sources (FAX, Email, Import and
Scanners)
- Data and order entry can be conducted in an automated process (OCR, Marksense, barcode
recognition) and using "key-from-image" technology)

Who is using INFLOW32?
- A financial sevices company processes lease applications.
Documents are received and marked with a bar code. Then they are scanned into the system,
indexed and filed by the bar code extracted from the document. ASCII file indexing is used to
link the documents to a proprietary database running on a mainframe.
- A testing institution uses INFLOW32 to collect student ID,
response information, and handwriting samples from SAT tests. INFLOW32 is used in combination
with other Co-Star products to capture, index and store documents, and then links those
documents to a Lotus Notes database.
Why is INFLOW32 better?
INFLOW32 is a cost-effective alternative for batch-processing with
a friendly, graphical and intuitive user interface. Input to the batch can be from anywhere,
and any device. Output options include ASCII, CSV and most popular databases. The document
repository with its own internal index is created automatically.
